Green: After All These Years

I really didn't know I was still obsessed with the color green until I looked around my home yesterday. I have two custom green leather sofas. My guest bedroom has a green chair and green bedding. My office has the matching green sofa (which ironically is identical to the 2 leather sofas but is covered in chenille). I'm trying to decide what color to paint the kitchen and the eat-in kitchen area and I keep going back to green. Now all of these are varying shades of sage and because my new obsession is emerald, I have to find a way to change up my decorations to incorporate my birthstone color.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know! My goal was to decorate with all white furniture and I did purchase a white leather chesterfield inspired sofa and chair but it was too small for my living room. I ended up buying three, yes three living room suits before ordering the green leather sofas. One living room suit ended up in my bedroom, the other one was split up between my office and the guest bedroom. The white leather sofa is in the eat-in kitchen area which we now use as another sitting area. With all of the sofas and chairs I have, I could host the entire population of the town I live in!

I found another sofa I want and do I have to tell you it's green! It also comes in white leather and it is the real thing: a Chesterfield sofa!

Tell me which one you'd want to sink into!

  1. I have never seen a green leather sofa. But I would love that sofa in white or red even

  2. It is gorgeous, but it's from England and the cost for shipping is outrageous! I would love to have it

  3. They're both beautiful but I think it depends on what design style you're in the mood for. I find the white much more contemporary while the green seems pretty traditional.
