BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA

I was in Birmingham last night to see Tyler Perry's The Haves and The Have Nots, and got a chance to peruse the styles of the fashionable women who attended. I saw a lot of short haircuts, skinny jeans and the highest wedge heels I've ever seen! If I could wear heels as high as those I saw, all of my money would be spent in shoes. Gorgeous! One lady who had obviously had foot surgery wore a surgical walking boot on the injured foot and a stiletto on the other! Talk about being true to the high heels! One lady who sat near me had on a red sheath dress with red pumps. Very classy look. I know, I know..why didn't I have my camera and release forms you ask.. we couldn't take camera equipment into the theater!
The Birmingham ladies had it going on! Good for you B'ham!

HELLO

I haven't been here in a while because I've been working on the third book in The LOVED TO DEATH Short Story Series. I received the purse today that I've been waiting on. It looked turquoise when I ordered it, but LO and BEHOLD it was more of a jade color and I absolutely love it! Usually you have to find a purse and shoes to match an outfit but in this case, I've got to find a dress to match my purse!

I've got to go back to my writing but wanted to say have a fantastic, fabulous and fashionable weekend!

Stilettos

Since when did being fashionable mean you had to wear heels higher than 3"? I'm looking for designers who feature lower heels. Anyone know of that kind of designer? Let me know

MY LATEST EBAY PURCHASE

I hope the color in the picture is the true color! I'll see when it arrives on my doorstep. But regardless of what color it is, it's still in the green family!

SWEATER TIME

According to Dushane Noble a knitwear designer at TSE, if you don't have a defuzzing gadget to removing pilling from your sweater, use a pumice stone on the chunkier knits. A sweater comb is best for fine gauge knits. Mr. Noble likes the Remington FuzzAway ($6.00 on amazon.com for chunky knits and sweater combs by D-Fuzz-It for around $3.00 at joann.com).

On the fine gauge knits, if you don't have a sweater comb handy use a clean, double-blade razor. Just drage the razor in downward motion to remove the fuzz (a a piece of cardboard inside sweater to create a smooth surface to work on.

It's chilly outside...get your sweater on!!!
