SPRING GREENS

Spring is officially here and although it's still too cold to start shedding our clothing I thought I'd share some early spring looks. All of the pictures are from essence.com

MINT GREEN

I think I'm falling in love with the mint greens I'm seeing this season. It feels like such a fresh and happy color. You just can't be sad, depressed or down in the dumps when you see it.
Speaking of this season...my husband and I have decided to get the Schwinn bicycles we bought in 1991 (and have never used!) and get out in this gorgeous weather. When I thought about our bikes, I ran across a picture of a mint green one. Who wouldn't be tempted to ride everyday if they were riding on this baby!!! Heck I may even paint my brown bike a prettier brighter color to make riding more interesting. How will you do mint green for Spring?

GREEN IN REAL LIFE

Okay, I know it's the last day of January but it's going to be 63 degrees here today! With that in mind, my eye went directly to the dress Selita Ebanks was wearing recently at an event photographed by essence.com . This would be so cute with a green sweater in the spring or by itself in the summer. Another way to incorporate green into your wardrobe.

SPRING CLOTHES ARE COMING

As we know, spring clothes will pop up in stores everywhere shortly, but that doesn't mean green can't be part of our spring wardrobe.  Here model Alex Wek shows us how to incorporate green with other colors in a lighter fabric.
